Our absolutely crazy September/October spun babysitters in and out of our house like a revolving door. You’d think I’d relax in November. Nope. I signed up for NaNoWriMo.
November is National Novel Writers Month and I will attempt to write 50 000 words in 30 days or less. That averages out to about 1650 words per day.
I participated in NaNoWriMo last year. I started a week late late and on the 22nd day of the month we met two little boys that we later adopted into our family. At times I feared I might lose my mind trying to finish the book between visitations and preparing Kaitlyn and ourselves for the boys’ arrival. But somehow, 11 months later, the anguish is forgotten and all I remember is the feeling of great accomplishment that accompanied success.
So don’t ask if Castle and Beckett reveal their true feelings for each other. I won’t know if Lisbon and Jane catch Red John and Sarah just might finish her house before I get to watch another episode. November’s spare time is consumed with writing.
Anyone else want to join?
