Dream Big

Impossible dreams. Undeveloped talent. The voices argue: Potential / hopeless! Attainable / improbable! Worthwhile / meaningless!

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).

Wisdom comes in differentiating between God’s voice and my own, God’s voice and the voice of the evil one.

Impossible dreams are not destined to disappoint. Maybe it’s their very impossibility that makes them a dream. Impossible dreams make God smile. Raising the dead. Healing the sick. Calming the storm. God is the God of impossible victories.

Weak talent is not a marker of failure. All talent begins weak until it is trained. The discipline that comes from training offers more than development. It cultivates character. It teaches tenacity. It requires sacrifice.

Know the Shepherd. Heed His voice. Ignore the rest. Dream big.
