This is Lindsay’s curb-side find after a neighbors garage sale. She carried home the table, which is sturdy and a perfect height for the kids to use while sitting on the floor or on their knees. They have used it for snack, play dough, cut and paste and lots of coloring. They never have to worry about going off of the page and marking the table because – hey – it was free!
She gave the tabletop two coats of spray-on chalkboard paint to increase the fun. When they play restaurant – they write out the menu. When they play school – they write the alphabet. There are always eager volunteers for wiping it down. Once she decides on a color Lindsay will mask off the top and paint the legs to spruce it even more.
