Antique dry erase board

I have spent the last year looking for a very large dry erase board to aid me in keeping track of my writing projects, deadlines, and to provide space to write out a complete story outline.

I found this gem at Habitat for Humanity. (Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Habitat for Humanity?)

I really need the space to flesh out a storyline, but a huge part of me could not purchase the typical office style white board. That made this antique window such an exciting find!

My husband attached a 2×4 to the wall ensuring it was screwed into the studs. It still needs another coat of paint, but you get the idea.

I kept the window frame white, but I dry brushed a stain over it. It hangs in our spare room completely filling one wall. I love that it still looks pretty when the glass holds no messages.
