It’s that time of year, when pumpkins start showing up on everyone’s doorstep. Last year our kids made these super cute pumpkins using felt pieces and glue.
This year, Jessica had her children hot glue broken crayons around the top of the pumpkin. They added heat from a hair dryer and melted the wax.
She thought the melted wax looked a lot like hair, so they plan to add faces to complete the project. What a great new take on pumpkin decor, and a wonderful way to make use of all those broken crayons.
If you plan to try this at home, it would likely be easier to glue on the face first and then melt the crayons. If you try this, let us know so we can post the results!
