Mixing It Up ~ Jessica Wiltsie

I stepped out of the kitchen for 5 minutes. Five short minutes.

And it erupted. I couldn’t help but think about the messes of life. We often start with good intentions and then, some how, we go off track and everything explodes.

Sometimes it only takes 5 minutes.

Or 5 words.

Or 5 actions.

And we find ourselves in the midst of a huge, sticky mess. Unsure of how to clean it up. Unsure of how to go back. Unsure of how to make things right.

Do we stay the course because we feel right? Do we submit for the sake of unity? Do we extend grace? Do we huddle in a corner and hope it passes?

I am thankful that I have a Saviour who can help me when things get hard. He gives me wisdom, humility, grace, and strength.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me (2 Cor 12:9).”

I needed to hear that today, thank you for posting this Stacey. His grace has proven to be sufficient in the past and I will watch and rest in it today. Jennifer
