Jessica’s pinterest inspired project provided much-needed toothbrush storage. She wanted something to keep the brushes out of eye sight, separate, and something she could put in the dishwasher and wash.
Her husband cut the board, and they painted it several coats of a good paint.
They found and fitted hose clamps to mason jars. It took awhile to put a hole through the clamp, but once they figured out a method it went faster. They put an indent in it using a screw so the drill bit would have a spot to bite into, then screwed the clamps to the prepared board. Jessica put labels with each persons name on the clamps.
Then they attached the board to the cabinet door… taking care to ensure the screws are the right length. They have made the wrong choice before and went right through the door!
Cost… $1.60 a clamp and she had the rest of the materials on hand.
