from garbage to laundry to kitchen

This counter has made the rounds. You might remember, I picked it up curb side years ago (sorry, there is no before picture). We painted it and used it in our laundry room. It was well-suited for our laundry needs.

Now, in our new home, we needed extra counter space in the kitchen and this cabinet was the perfect price. Free.

I found a shelf that measured the exact length of the cabinet at a garage sale for $5.00. I spray painted it the same creamy white that I painted the lower cabinet. A friend made the doors, and of course, you already know how we painted the countertop.

It’s hard to believe that this is the same cabinet. Real proof that one man’s garbage is another man’s coffee bar.
