Making a Christmas Kissing Ball is quite easy. Start with clippings from various evergreens.
Then, poke a wire through a styrofoam ball and create a hook at the top and bottom onto which you can tie a ribbon. (Tie on the bottom ribbon at the end of the craft.) I used an old wire coat hanger.
Now, comes the fun part. Poke greenery into the ball until you have covered the entire surface. It looks funny, at first, but it gets better.
After the greenery fills the ball, add ornaments, pine cones, and berries (artificial from the dollar store). I twisted pipe cleaners around the decorations and stabbed them into the ball.
I added the bottom ribbon and another ribbon looped at the top. I did not trim the shape. I like the natural look of the greenery.
They hang outside on our shepherd’s hook.
