My husband and I spent our early ministry years serving God in a tiny village. I learned so much about ministry, myself, and the Lord during those years. Since then, we’ve served God in other contexts. My husband was an associate pastor and now is a lead pastor in a large (ish) church. After more than 20 years in ministry, I have to admit that there is something uniquely special and uniquely challenging about small-town ministry.
