Book one in the Mistletoe Meadows series.
A musician wrestling with a life altering diagnosis spends Christmas with an 11-yr-old stroke survivor and her widowed father.
Everyone loves to read a romance with a good storyline, but Mistletoe Melody has a twist because not only is there romance, but each main character has something to work through. They are not perfect and their weakness is an obstacle to them. Author Stacey Week’s skillfully crafts how each character together and with God’s help work out their challenges. I enjoyed the novella because it kept my attention to the very end as I wanted to glean for myself the wisdom I need for my imperfect situations. 5 Stars ~ PBG Booklover Laura
I couldn’t wait till I could write my review today. I wish that it was issued in paperback as I would have sent a copy out this Christmas instead of Christmas cards! Stacey Weeks broaches 2 very sensitive subjects with such grace and understanding that serves to sweeten the storyline. She also develops the romance very, very, very well for such a short timeline. As I read, I completely pictured a Hallmark movie. Time to grab a tea, sit in front of the fireplace, and drift away into Mistletoe Melody! 5 Stars ~ PBG Booklover Sandy
The perfect book to read after decorating your house for the holidays! If you are looking for a festive romance to gives you all kinds of warm and fuzzy feelings, this is a lovely choice. I don’t normally read romance, but Christmas always pulls at my heartstrings. Stacey Weeks describes a setting made for a Hallmark movie and includes characters that are impossible not to fall in love with. I loved their vulnerability and fractured pasts. It made the story so much more personal and unique. Would make a great pre-Christmas bookshelf stocking-stuffer. 4 Stars ~ PBG Booklover Tara
This is really a heartwarming, loving story. It deals with what it means to love and the sacrifices we make for those we love. Power packed with emotion. Beautifully written Christmas story. I volunteered to read an ARC of this book prior to publication. Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own. 5 Stars ~ PBG Booklover Carol
